It's an updated version (yeah, really) of the book that came in the starter box (which they aren't reprinting). This is great news for anybody who already has a lot of miniatures and terrain. It's really good seeing so many videos of people playing this popping up, and some honest reviews about how the game is a lot of fun (cos the rule set it's based on is awesome), but a lot of comments about how the campaign isn't as deep as Necromunda.
The game lasted a long time because in Necromunda, er I mean Shadow War: Armageddon, there are no turn limits, you play until someone bottles (Usually this means when a warband has taken 25% casualties the model with the highest leadership has to take a test and if they fail the whole warband runs away, sometimes the percentage is different GW recently released this new Boxed Game called Shadow War: Armageddon, and although they really underestimated how popular this game would be – and thus how quickly it would sell out – my husband and I managed to nab a copy from our FLGS.
